Sky+ is the ultimate accessory for anyone who watches tv. It is full of features which make your viewing easier and gives you more time to watch what you want. The idea is a simple one, the box has a hard drive which it stores the programmes you want recorded to. It does this however with as little as a press of a button making complicated ... I have had this product for over a year now and I do not know how I managed to live without it before! Sky Plus is essentially a TV system that allows you to watch, play and recorded your favourite programmes all at the same time! It records onto a hard disk so you do not need to faff around with DVDs or video tapes. To record a program ... Read the complete review

For most of my life I coped fine with only having a couple of television channels. I was fine with 3, having 4 was a bonus, and then channel 5 came along, and it didn't really count as a new channel as we could only get a very fuzzy picture. But a couple years ago my hubby and me decided we'd try and catch up with everyone else's ... Read the complete review

I first got Sky+ when I moved in with my boyfriend. I had always had Sky or Cable while living at home and we were always going to get something when moving out. We got a really good deal, bearing in mind that this was about 3, maybe 4 years ago, for sky to be installed with a Sky+ box for £99. It is the best thing that we bought. We both really ... I have had sky plus now for over a year and do enjoy the benefits it gives you.
What I don't like is that I have to deal with sky. Sky has the worst customer service department I have ever dealt with. They offer no service at all they. They keep you on the phone for hours being put on hold while they transfer you from department to department. They give you the wrong information and prices and when you complain about this they say sorry my colleague must have made a mistake and you are the one who has to suffer from this mistake. My advice stay clear the bad customer service outweighs the products.

We bought a Sky+ box on the 16th October 2007 and have already had to replace it twice. The picture freezes, things dont record and the box turns its self off mid-programme. The engineers who came both admitted that 90% of their job was dealing with faults and said that they replace at least ten boxes per day, sometimes more. Which i ... Read the complete review

we have a sky + box in our home but have been experiencing difficulties in the last couple of months. The screen freezes and then skips so we often lose some important frames. The engineer said that it could be weather related as there is no patern to the interuptions. Also we have had problems when recording a programme the other channels coming ... How did I ever cope without it, recording 2 channels or record one chanel and watch another, no noticible loss off picture quality or sound quality. 80 gb hard drive allows for many hours of programs stored. recording via series link ensure you never miss and episode. The boxes are easy to use and with onscreen guides its even simpler than a VCR. ... Read the complete review

Called Sky+ this service is recommended if you like watching TV. On aerial based TV you can record from TV using VCR. With Sky you can't do this. Sky+ overcomes this problem. It is a receiver and a recorder. There is a 80GB hard disk inside the box. Using this customers can record 40 hours of TV broadcast on SKY. From July 1 ... Read the complete review

~~~Our History with Sky~~~ We have been customers of Sky now for over 6 years. We first became customers upon relocating from just outside London to southern Cheshire. Being that we moved into a cottage in a rural village up on a steep and very stony hill, we were unable to get cable, and the reception was terrible with an aerial, so we ... Read the complete review
Sky+ is great but Sky needs to address customer service and hidden terms. Beware that if you downgrade your package you wont be able to watch recorded programmes from channels that you no longer subscribe to. e.g. subscribe to Movies for a month and record loads of films. Sky Plus has the ability to change the way you watch TV forever, or at least thats what the advertising says. On the whole and much as I hate to admit they were right, I have to agree. First a bit of background. We have been Sky customers for 5 years and have a leaning towards gadgets so when Sky plus was first introduced, we were ... Read the complete review
I recently came home from work to find that my father had had Sky Plus installed into our living room. We live in an old house and had always avoided Sky as we thought a huge white satellite dish stuck to the side of our house would really spoil its' cottage look. However, when I arrived back from work I didn't even notice the dish as I walked in, ... Read the complete review
