Sky Sports 1

This is the flagship channel of the Sky Sports package and as such hosts Sky's biggest sporting events. In our house the buttons '4' '0' and '1' are virtually worn away on our Sky remote as it is probably the most watched channel after BBC 1, ITV and maybe Channel 4! The main attraction is of course English Premiership football and their coverage of this is second to none. There is a Sunday game at 4pm and sometimes a Saturday and Sunday lunchtime game, although the latter two are sometimes on Setanta now. Sky Sports 1 is the best channel out of all the sports package you get from Sky,they have everything live on this channel and nothing is shown repeat here. I took out a Sky Sports Package a few years back,I decided to get the channel because my partner loves football a lot.I was quite unhappy with the amount of repeat programs they had on the weekend. For the champions league football it was brilliant you can watch 8 games on one channel if you have sky!It really is awesome,you can watch the live cricket as well,they never had difficulties in their broadcasting. I love SKY SPORTS 1, especially on the weekend when there is live action from the world of sport nearly every hour of the day. As an NTL viewer I cannot gain the advantages of interactive..such as player cam or fanzone but they sound damn good in theory. I also love the commentators on sky sports and find that they are the best around like Andy Gray and Martin Tyler on the football and Eddie and Stevo on rigby league.
