Advantages: Great diversity of shows, good commentary, good sporting summary shows.

Disadvantages: Too many adverts!

Sky sports bring you arguably the best sporting action of any UK sports channel. It's dominated primarily by football matches, most of which are premiership games at the weekend and it always shows the biggest games of the season. On top of this it's the best place to get all of the European football action, for example the champions league and Euro cup. But I think one of the channel's great strengths is it's balance of different sports. As a rugby fan it's great to see the channel playing AT LEAST two games per weekend of either premiership or european rugby. Plus during the international period it shows all of England's games. It's also a great channel for watching cricket over the summer, both domestic, one day games and of course bigger test matches such as the previous Ashes. It doesn't stop here though and with a quick flick through the list of programmes you can quite happily pick out a summary of a range of sports. For example I enjoy the Sunday night 3 hour catch up of the American football games. But there's also major darts tournaments and a whole lot more! If you want sport this is the place to come.

Summary: If you want non-stop sporting action, then this is the place to come to!
