Sky Sports News is a 24 hour Tv channel on Sky number 405. This channel is dedicated to sports. It brings all the breaking news from any sport. Mainly football and rugby.

Because I am such a football mad person this channel is pretty much constantly on in my household. It has lots of interviews, shows goals from matches and brings you the latest news from every club.

Most football programmes only concentrate on the premiership. Sky Sports news had reaction, highlights and interviews from all the leagues in all divisions in Britain, and the best from around the rest of Europe.

On Saturday from 12-6, the channel turns into Gillette Soccer Saturday. This is where the host Jeff Stelling, has a panel of guests which are ex footballers watch the live games of football and keep us the viewer informed of what's happening. They also have someone, from ex footballers to journalists, at every single match in England and the Scottish Premiership, and they go around the grounds to keep the viewer informed. With a villy printer at the bottom going round with every single goal scored in England, Scotland and Wales.

The layout of the Channel, Excluding Saturdays, had at the bottom of the screen has like a villy printer but it goes sideward, telling you all the latest news from every sport and division. If their is some breaking news they bring that below this in bright yellow going across the screen. They have two presenters at every one time bringing interviews and reports and down the side it tells you the information from each sport with top goal scorers and league tables etc and above that the time and date.

I think this channel is broadcasted live during the day as sometimes they make mistakes and the screen freezes etc. But if I watch it during the night every hour the same thing is repeated on a loop.

A great informative station with the odd guest from the world of sport and a journalist to go through the mornings sports pages of the papers every morning
