Sky Sports News is a 24 hour sports news channel available on Satellite, Cable & Freeview. It broadcasts live from 6am - 11pm, overnight it broadcasts the same hourly pre-recorded show.

Being quite a big sports fan, I love this channel & don't know how I'd survive without it. It's very effective in delivery all the latest sports news from right here in the UK to right across the globe & is extremely rapid in delivery the big sports stories as they break.

I do have to say though that this channel is heavily baised on it's football stories, I love football so don't mind but if you're not such a fan you may not be so impressed. One of the best moments of the channel is always their coverage of the transfer window especially the closing day, keeping you up to date with all the gossip and minute by minute activities. Also it's an essential watch on Saturday afternoons with the fabulous Jeff Sterling & a number of special guests keeping you up to date with all the scores & developing stories.

Overall I would say that this channel is essential for keeping up to date with the goings on in the sports world.
