At last! The world has been crying out for a Sports dedicated news station and with Sky in charge, quality is guaranteed and Sky Sports News (SSN) doesn't disappoint.

Although the main focus is football, there is ample coverage of all other sports making the news, including Cricket, Rugby, Horse Racing, Tennis, Golf - in fact pretty much any sport making the news.

Like with any news station, the news can get repeated again and again depending on the amount of news available, but there are always interesting features that SSN run which give good insight into news stories etc.

One slight disappointment is the lack of Formula 1 news coverage, although maybe as they don't have any rights to it then they aren't interested in it too much?

Ad breaks don't get in the way too much, and when matches are in progress SSN sometimes changes to a live football scores feed with expert comment and analysis from the studio with commentators either at or watching the game in the studio. During ad breaks SSN will usually leaves the scores up so you won't miss a goal!

If there's nothing else on TV then I tend to put SSN on - it has plenty of scroll bars containing different news, info and stats but does not look cluttered, so there's always something to see!

Overall - top channel!
