The box is a music channel on cable and satellite television. The main purpose of it is, that viewers phone up to vote for their favourite music videos using the selection numbers which are usually shown at the bottom of the screen while videos are being played.

The slogan of the channel is 'music television you control', which is the very truth.

Box Tops is the chart from 10 all the way to number 1 of most selected videos that week. This is run by the box because only they know whats the most selected videos. Some of the videos on top I just do not understand how they are there when they are not played and I watch this channel quite a lot.

Box Fresh is new videos added to the playlists every week, the presenter, well the voice tells you a little info on the person and the video. This is really an advert through out the breaks in the music videos on quite regularly.

The box is on sky digital 449 but I am not quite sure what it is for other forms of digital television. To phone up and select a video the phone number is

09067 533 400 and all calls cost 75p a minute, they don't keep you on for that long either.

Sometimes the box have exclusive videos, or times when they can only show videos after a certain time, but it is a 24 hour voting channel so there will always be videos played. The videos that seem to be played all of the time right now are still Will and Gareth which is beginning to make me hate them.

I think with the Box sometimes that they should take older videos off the playlist because it does make me hate the song but if the add them on after a while it makes me think oh I haven't heard this in a while. Lots of new videos should have a daily vote limit so that they are not voted too much and that I will not go off them within the space of one day.

Box ringtones are a new thing on the site you phone up the number and get all new songs as a ringtone on your telephone. <

Overall the box is an ok music channel but not the best one going, so many channels like it are better.
