The idea for The Box, allowing viewers to select what song they want to see using their phone, is quite unique and ideal for a low budget TV channel. The problem is, the number you call to select your video is premium rate (60p per minute) and calls last about 3 minutes...this doesn't seem to deter people though because the service is very busy meaning that even when you select a song it can take about three hours before your selection is shown. The videos you can choose from are very up to date with a few older ones thrown in (from late 1999), these can sometimes spoil the channel because these can be songs that you have heard so much you hate them, even the worst artists like Lolly get a fair go on this channel. There are also a lot of new artists who you don't see on MTV and they often get exclusives before MTV.
