Dave Channel is a marketing ploy to be different really.

It is second channel to UK Gold. Majority of the stuff on here is taken from past programs on BBC network. Not surprising as UKTV Network is a joint venture between BBC and Virgin Media.

What do I like about this channel? Well programs like Top Gear and many other great programs that were shown on BBC in the past several years.

Sometime it is like watching repeats from BBC. However I can choose what I watch and this channel provides little bit of entertainment by broadcasting programs that I have missed in the past.

Dave Channel attracts several million viewers and is available on all modes of TV broadcasting that includes satellite, cable and free view.

I will continue to watch this channel. I am sure like in the past future programming will be repeats of programs from other channels so it will be like choosing something good and enjoying it some more.

Dave channel requires no subscription.

Dave channel comes in Dave +1 mode as well. So you can watch one hour delayed transmission.
