STRANGE NAME FOR A TV CHANNEL (The Dave Channel)

I know, a strange name for a TV channel. This Channel used to be called Uk TV Gold 2, and although that name wasn't that great I think when you hear a channel name called Dave, then you won't know what's on it roughly - will you?

This channel is on Sky channel 111, Cable Channel 128 and Freeview channel 19. It also has a +1 hour channel as well, but i'm unsure of the channel numbers for that.

So what is on the channel? Well it is mostly programmes that appeal to male viewers, but in this day and age you certainly get females that are interested in Cars, Bikes and so on.

This channel runs from 7am-3am, 7 days a week. Most importantly what programmes are usually on this channel? well shows like

Mock The Week
never Mind the Buzzcocks
Whose Line is it anyway?
Red Dwarf
Fifth Gear
World Rally
A question of sport
Speeders
Airport
Dragon's Den

As I said it seems to be more so aimed at males, but I like to watch Mock the week, Never mind the buzzcocks, the odd Top Gear and Airport.

This channel is probably on about 4 times a week in my house, as the content is quite light hearted, easy enough to pick up on even though you've not had your eye on the tv the whole time and it is entertaining.

I do have to state, that although it is just a name, it doesn't say much to me.
