Dave is available on Freeview channel 19, along with Dave-ja-vu on 25, and you can watch Dave on Sky channel 111. You have probably seen the chanel advertised with it's slogan of "Dave, the home of witty banter".

Dave tends to show lots of old favourites, so when it first came out, I did watch it a lot to catch up with things that I hadn't watched for ages.

Programmes include Top Gear, Dragon's Den, Mock the Week, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Who's line is it Anyway, QI, Live at the Appollo and Red Dwarf. The programmes do tend to be more geared towards men, but there is a good selection so it wasn't difficult to find something that I enjoyed watching.

Lately though, I have become totally fed up with Dave, simply because, they repeat everything again and again. I appreciate that repeating things a couple of times might be useful to allow people to watch the ones that they have missed, but the repetition seems never ending. In fact, it almost feels like once you have watched this chanel for a couple of months, there is no point in tuning in again, as all you will see will be the things that you have already watched.

It is a shame that Dave don't vary things a bit because it has definitely put me off. Even Mr Siamese has got bored with it now, and he watched it much more than I did.

3 stars simply because they do screen good programs, just far too many times!
