The Television License is the only way we can be charged for BBC programmes. The license is actually to own the television receiver.

I have found BBC programmes declining in quality and standard over about the past few years to the regular pool of repeats, cookery programs and DIY.

But, there is a side to the BBC that not all of us are aware of. The foreign service of reporters and networks of news agencies around the world et up by the BBC ensure that we get the news as it breaks anywhere in the world.
