Advantages: is there really, truthfully any?

Disadvantages: pay for no choice.

What a crazy world we're all living in.
Or is it?
Should that first line read "What a greedy world run by fat cats we're living in"?

I myself, like many others, dont really mind paying for what I watch, but does it really have to be at such a price.
What do we get for our money. Okay the BBC have had the odd great programme on, even series, but there come at least once or twice a year.
If you think about it, it seems that the BBC have had more programmes flopped or axed than any other station, so just where is our money going?
I feel that that is a question that will never be truly answered.
If ITV & CH 4 even CH 5 now, can make good programmes or get hold of modern day films then surely the BBC will be losing out, therefore having to increase the license fee in order to keep them in buisness. So one wonders if, however, do the BBC make shoddy programmes on purpose in order for the company to increase the fee?.
All that said though, the BBC will break one day and boy will they feel it. They really should listen to the taxpayer, but like the rest of the runners in the U.K. all they really care about is making money for themselves dispite what effect it has on others.
Its just ridiculous, you even have to pay the fee if you've just got a radio and no T.V!!

Heres a tip, If you have innocently forgot to pay your T.V license and one of those little men come knocking on your door, just tell them you havent got a T.V, and if they reply that you have an aerial on you roof, say to them that you have a bottle of milk in the fridge and that dosent mean you have a cow in your back garden!.
