It's that time of year again. This show always seems to come on the tv around this time of year. I can't think of what series we are on of this, perhaps the 7th? Don't quote me on that. I have been watching this show since the series with Peter Andre and Kerry Katona, which I think was 2004.

This show just started it's new series last night. It is on ITV1 every night at 9pm and I think the show is going to run for 3 weeks this time. There is also the spin off show on ITV2, which features more gossip and bits from the show. The main show is sometimes on for an hour and a half, but often it is an hour.

So what is the show then? It is hosted by Ant and Dec. There is 10 "Celebrities" and they are taken into the Australian jungle. They live in a camp there and have to take part in Bush Tucker trials to win food for their team. Certainly if they don't win a challenge they are not left with no food, but they may just have some plain rice to eat. So who are the celebrities? Good question, there are some people in here even i've not heard of and I thought I was well up on the world of Celebs.

1. Robert Kilroy Silk - He used to present the chat show Kilroy on BBC1 but was sacked from it a few years ago. He's an older gent.

2. Joe Swash - Mickey in Eastenders

3. Dani Behr - TV presenter. I used to watch her when she presented The Word

4. Simon Webb - He was in the boyband Blue

5. Carley Zucker - Fiancee of Footballer Joe Cole

6. Martina Navratilova - Famous Tennis player in the early 90's

7. Ester Rantzen - TV presenter. Most famous for being the host of That's Life

8. Brian Paddick - He said he used to be high up in the police force and then became a polititian. He stated that in the police force he was openly gay, but i'm sure a lot of gay people in the police are probably openly gay, so don't really get the comment.

9. George Takei - He was in Star Trek. Can't comment, i'm not a Trekkie

10. Nicola McLean - Token glamour model. Seems alright but trowelled on make up and fake tan. It will make interesting viewing to see her with no slap on!

It would be good if they had good proper Celebrities on, as I think it will make more interesting viewing, as I don't know half of these ones and it is the same every year. I think if I had to choose 10 celebrities to go in here I think it would be funny to have

4. Madonna
5. Britney Spears
6. Chris Moyles
7. Tom Cruise
8. Barbara Cartland
9. Anna Wintour
10.Russel Brand

Unfortunately I don't think ITV would have the budget for these stars, but it would make good viewing!

Some of the challenges they have to do make my tummy turn and i'm not that squeemish. In previous shows they've eated animals bits like Kangaroo an*s and Pen*s, which just creeps me out. I couldn't go that. There is other challenges which involve heights and being covered in slime and so on.

I do like this show in a way. It is my guilty show, that I watch but don't openly admit to watching it, as it has a reputation for beinga bit naff.
