Advantages: very funny, good challenges, Ant & Dec

Disadvantages: celebrities not that great this year

It's that time of year again folks......yes 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' is back. Hosted by the ever popular Ant & Dec the show takes a group of has-been / wannabe celebrities into the Australian jungle and makes them do the most ridiculous tasks in order to gain food for the team. Last nights episode saw Eastenders actor Joe Swash face glamour model Nicola McLean in an eating challenge, sounds nice enough. It was the best of five courses and dishes included kangaroo's penis and cockroaches! I believe tonight's challenge involves being chained up in a pool rapidly filling with water whilst having to pick up stars, very random! The public choose which celebrities they want to take part in the daily challenges by voting and so far it seems Joe is the unlucky one having taken part in all three challenges to date, probably because his reaction to the events as they unfold is so funny. Not only do the public decide which celebrities take part in the challenges, but also who is evicted from the jungle.

This years celebrities are: Brian Paddick - London mayor candidate and former police chief, Carly Zucker - Joe Cole's girlfriend, Dani Behr - former pin up, Esther Rantzen - television presenter, George Takei - US star trek actor, Joe Swash - plays Mickey in British soap Eastenders , Martina Navratilova - former champion tennis player, Nicola McLean - glamour model, Robert Kilroy-Silk - former television presenter / politician and Simon Webbe - singer with boy band Blue.

The show is on nightly on ITV1 at 9pm for an hour and is guaranteed to make you laugh, just don't take it too seriously, the celebrities certainly don't. Ant & Dec are as cheeky and funny as ever and the challenges are actually really entertaining. In my opinion it's a good way to spend an evening in front of the television with the family. My tip to win is Martina, I think everybody will realise what a nice person she is and her competitive edge will take her all the way.

Thanks for reading.

Summary: well worth watching as is very funny

I watched this a few years ago though I didn't watch last years as I got bored, but I've started watching it again this year and I'm enjoying it!
