Advantages: Entertaining reality show with Ant and Dec presenting.

Disadvantages: Would be better with more well known celebs

I have said in my previous reviews how I love to watch reality television and when a show comes on that I like I will watch it from start to finish, I'm A Celebrity-Get Me Out Of Here is one of those shows. I have watched all of the series' over the years and I still look forward to watching it now.

The new series will start in just a week and will run for three full weeks. It is always shown in late November and ends in early December, although when it first began it was on at the beginning of the year but I think they changed this due to the weather. During the time it is on it will be shown every night on ITV usually around 9pm and for either an hour long show but sometimes an hour and a half.

The show is presented by the fantastic and very funny Ant and Dec, they themselves make the show worth watching as they are constantly taking the micky out of the contestants. They are so quick and witty I just love to watch them.

Basically the show is about a group of celebrities going to live in the Austrailian jungle. The group is a mixture of men and women but it is hard to say how many because they seem to change this every series. I would say about 12 to 14 people and they often bring in new contestants throughout the series.

The so called celebrities are often quite unknown characters often from television or sport who are there to revive their careers. To be honest appearing on this show does often work to get the celebrities catapulted back into the showbiz limelight, especially if they do well. Past celebrity winners have included Joe Swash, Christopher Biggins, Matt Willis, Joe Pasqualie, Kerry Katona and Carol Thatcher. Not exactly people you would call 'A list' celebrities.

Once they begin life in the jungle celebrities then have to fend for themselves and earn their food. Each day one of the celebrities will have to do a bushtucker trial, which is often a task involving creepy crawlies. They have to win stars with each star being one meal, these tasks are by no means easy and often the celebs go hungry because people are unsuccessful on the tasks.

For the first week the public has to vote for who has to do these tasks but at the beginning of week two the public has to then vote for who they want to leave the jungle. Then each night one by one the person with the least votes has to leave the jungle. On the last night there are usually three celebrities left with one of them being crowned king or queen of the jungle.

I think this show is really entertaining, the bushtucker trials are fantastic and very funny. There is usually lots of bickering and arguements, usually because they are so hungry. You also get the odd romance with probably Katie and Peter being the most famous romance to come from this show.

I love this show and with Ant and Dec as the presenters it is definitely worth watching. The celebrities might not be very well known but after spending three weeks watching them you certainly get to know them. A great show.

Summary: I will be watching from next Sunday for the whole 3 weeks
