30 Rock

I struggle to understand why this show is not bigger than it is. I can see how it is often compared to Arrested Development in the sense that it is intelligent, funny, witty and charming, with appealing characters, and yet the larger public audience has somehow, largely ignored it. If I remember correctly, 30 Rock premiered the same year as Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. I've yet to actually see Studio 60, but know that it is, as 30 Rock is, set behind the scenes at a Television studio (Albeit Studio 60 was an hour long drama and 30 Rock a half hour sitcom). This show is so criminally underrated in the UK - it definitely deserves a decent slot on a mainstream channel, to get the viewers it deserves! To be fair, it is fairly quirky and likely to divide opinion, but then so do most worthwhile comedies. It's set in the Rockerfeller Centre in New York (hence the name) and is based around the happenings at the NBC studios.
