My only criticism would be that there isn't enough of it and you'll have to wait for hours to watch the next bit! Though, I feel that wasn't the point. House of Rock rounds of the already superb Channel Four Music zone, '4Music'. The animations are interesting (just what you need on a late weekday night) and somewhat scatty. The House of Rock has to be one of the most original recent british animations. The quirks of each character are played out to the full and make this little time-filler so easy to watch. My only criticism would be that there isn't enough of it and you'll have to wait for hours to watch the next bit! Though, I feel that wasn't the point. Channel 4's 'The House Of Rocks' is basically, kind of like what Beavis & Butt-Head were to MTV, except this small comedy cartoon series of shorts is more like a somewhat entertaining filler between other 4 Music programs on. It's not bad, but not compulsive viewing. More entertaining than the ads while you wait for a 4music program you like to come on though. The show's basically set in a house (in heaven, or hell?) where Marc Bolan, Kurt Cobain, Notorious B.I.G., John Denver and Freddy Mercury live; kind of like a dysfuctional family of dead rock stars.
