8 Out of 10 Cats is my favourite panel game TV show. It is really funny and I always find myself laughing at some of the things they say!

It is presented by Jimmy Carr, who always says a few random, but funny, things at the start of each show. There are also two regular team captains, Sean Lock and Jason Manford. It amazes me how they can think of things when they don't rehearse it! The old team captain is Dave Spikey who was replaced by Jason Manford.

There are seven series altogether and are different amount of episodes in each one. There are also different guests on each one too. They have also done four Big Brother specials, where all of the Big Brother housemates come on the show.

Each show runs for thirty minutes. Altogether there has been fifty six episodes. It started 30th June 2005 and is still currently running. There are four current games that the teams play.

1. What Are You Talking About - what are you talking about is a game that the teams have to guess the top six topics that the public have been talking about the most.
2. Pick of The Polls - pick of the polls is a game where four pictures come up on a screen and the teams have to guess a poll that all four pictures could fit into.
3. Believe It or Not - believe it or not is a game where the teams are given a fact or not and have to guess whether it is true or it's false.
4. And The Winner Is - and the winner is, is a game where the teams are given a question and they have to guess what the answer is.

8 Out of 10 Cats is played on Channel 4 on Thursday at 10 pm. Series one there are ten episodes. Series two there are seven. Series three there are eight. Series four there are eight. Series five there are six. Series six there are six. And series seven there is thirteen.
