sympatic Sweeney, The

Sweeney is a 70 s coshow and at the time it was apparently seen as being ground breaking as it did not really show the police in the best of lights as they were portrayed as hard drinking womanisers who used violence to get confessions and were not beyond bending the law to get a conviction. So a bit like real life then lol. The series focused on the London Flying Squad (Sweeney Todd is the rhyming slang from which the series gets its name after all you only use the first word in rhyming slang) and a Detective Inspector by the name of Jack Reagan played by the great John Thaw with his sidekick George being played by Dennis Waterman. ... Top Gear Polar challenge is an special episode of Top Gear where the presenters try to get to the North Pole from Resolute, Nunavut in Canada. That s over 400 miles. Jeremy and James were in a hevealy modified Toyota Hilux and they had to race against Richard who was using a Dog sled with the help of dog sled driver Matty McNair. The episode lasted the full hour. At the beginning of the episode we get to see the presenters learn more about the dangers of the North Pole and since this is Top Gear you can guess that none of them take it seriously and its just typical top gear humor. Oceano80 knight rider (2008)
... we have another 80 s remake. Now the original show was l a hit in the 80 s but does this come anywhere near it. Well in some ways it s better and in others it s poor. Now we have cental Knight Foundation headquarters that have loads of boffins working there unlike the original where you only saw around three people. KITT is still in the show at least. He has all the old features and a few new ones. One of the new features is that he can morph into other car shapes which at times look really cool but sometimes look like very poor effects.
