Family Guy:
... have always been a big fan of American animated comedy but I was never a big fan of Family Guy when I first started watching it as I couldn t get into it and didn t think I would. However, after a spur of the moment I bought all of the season s that were available at the time on DVD, which I believe was season s 1-6. After watching hours of Family Guy I finally got into it and started to enjoy watching it. Now t... Read the full review: Family Guy is genius! by nickpring |

Family Guy ... Guy is a show that I have very mixed feelings about. It launched originally in 1999 and was a cult success, although apparently didn t garner enough ratings, and was axed after its third season by the idiotic network FOX. However, after strong DVD sales, it was resurrected to high acclaim, and everything seemed to be golden. However, now in its eighth season, the format has become tiresome and for the last 2-3 seasons, the writers have gotten REALLY lazy, recycling jokes and generally using obnoxious gags that aren t very funny. The show consists of a quirky family: here are the main characters: Peter Griffin - the idiot patriarch of the family. He is overweight ... South Park ... all of the shows to be gushed with heaping praise, South Park is actually a show that probably deserves more acclaim than it is ever likely to get. Although it is derided often as a crude, childsh show, it has grown to be much more than that, and is in fact a very clever satire that is veiled below some admittedly crude and petulant potty humour. The show takes place in the fictional town of South Park in Colorado, revolving around four elementary school kids. The most famous and most beloved is undoubtedly Eric Cartman, who also happens to be the most stupid and emphatically racist of them all. He has extremist viewes which he frequently inflicts on the others, and ... Read the full review: More clever than it gets credit for... by shaneo632 |

Family Guy ... is absolute comedy genius. I m pretty sure that this show will be one of the animated comedy classics of the future and will be appreciated for many years to come. The stars of the show are Peter (Dad), Lois (Mum), Meg (Daughter), Chris (Son), Stewie (Baby), and Brian (The pet dog). However, there are some really funny small part characters to look out for. My favourites are Olly Williams, the news reporter / weather man. Olly has some brilliant one liners that have me in stitches time and time again. Many of the episodes incluse "cutaways" which have very little or nothing to do with the actual plot or story that is being told. These cutawayts oft...
