Springwatch ... on BBC Following the success of Springwatch, we were delighted to see that Autumnwatch has joined our screens - for the next 8 weeks. Chris Packham and Kate Humble are back with us though sadly, Bill Oddie isn t joining the series this time, having left after 4 years in Jan. The series began in Herefordshire and promises to be enthralling viewing. The program follows our local wildlife to see what autumn brings and so far, has been action packed. Monkey Life ... Life is an outstanding documentary series that follows the lives of the 15 different primate species at the Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre in Wareham, Dorset. Jim Cronin originally established Monkey World in 1987 to provide a safe haven for badly abused Spanish beach chimps, but now they take in chimps from all over the world, and work to stop illegal ape smuggling and abuse in laboratories and the tourism and entertainment industries. The staff at the centre work hard to rehabilitate the primates and get them acting in appropriate ways for their species. Extreme Fishing with Robson Green ... Robson is back, and this time he s armed with rod and reel, and steps around the world on his fishing adventures. I think before watching you need to be aware of a few things. Firstly Robson is not known for his presenting skills, and as I m sure many have noted, his presenting skills leave a lot to be desired. But in a way this is partly what makes this show great. There is no makeup no real script and not really any editing - this is a celeb we all know, who loves fishing!
