Two & A Half Men:
... and a half men is a hit American comedy which has been going since around 2002 and is not in it s 7th season. I got into this around the same time as I started watching King of Queens and Everybody loves Raymond and loved it immediately. It follows the lives of 2 brothers, Charlie played by Charlie Sheen (who seems to be the same age now as he was when he appeared in Hotshots 20 years ago), Alan played by Jon Cr... 30 Rock ... struggle to understand why this show is not bigger than it is. I can see how it is often compared to Arrested Development in the sense that it is intelligent, funny, witty and charming, with appealing characters, and yet the larger public audience has somehow, largely ignored it. If I remember correctly, 30 Rock premiered the same year as Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. I ve yet to actually see Studio 60, but know that it is, as 30 Rock is, set behind the scenes at a Television studio (Albeit Studio 60 was an hour long drama and 30 Rock a half hour sitcom). I also remember that it was meant to be the next big thing and would blow 30 Rock outta the water . Studio 60 ... Read the full review: Most underrated sitcom ever by nmarieb |

The Green Green Grass ... Green Green Grass~~~ After the final episode of Only Fools and Horses aired in 2003, creator and writer John Sullivan provided a spin off 2 years later titled The Green Green Grass. Featuring car dealer Boycie, his wife Marlene and their now grown up son Tyler the show follows their new life in the countryside after they were forced to flee the Driscoll Brother s because Boyce gave evidence against them that sent them to jail. ~The cast: John Challis ~ John Aubrey Boyce (Boycie) The second hand car dealer who loves to boast of his wealth and success. I love the air of sophistication Boycie try s to give off to his new neighbours and the way he has not got a clu... Read the full review: The grass is not always greener ... by clumsy221 |

Gavin and Stacey ... only are the new sitcoms that come along getting increasingly naff (if that s possible) but also rather patronising. We have seen with the reality TV genre that those shows are cheap to make because you can cast unpaid idiots for no fee, their reward the chance to change their lives on national TV, as long as they can get all emotional on queue and do lots of dumb things. If you re watching The Restaurant (is it me or is Steve a really fat Jamie Oliver look-alike without any cooking skills?) on BBC2 then you have a good idea on who to cast to make an entertaining TV hour and who not to pick to run a professional restaurant with world renowned chef Raymond Blanc, who s...
