Disadvantages: just about everything

This is the kind of programme my dad likes and i absolutely hate!!

Basically, each episode a couple or family or friends go away to a different holiday resort, in which they look at three or four different properties to buy as a potential holiday home. the show follows them around the homes and sees their opinion of them and then sees whether they make an offer on any of them.

My problems with this show are that half the time the people haven't visited the resort before, and clearly have no intention of actually buying - which to me seems like they are using it to get a holiday out of the tv channel.
Also alot of couples don't do their research - they have no idea how the housing system works, how much property they can expect to get for their money, or even exactly what they want! which to me makes the show a bit pointless.

Summary: switch off TV
