The A-Team is a classic piece of 80's TV. Is is funny, filled with action & mildly violent. Firstly the premise of the A-team. You are given an idea of why the A-Team do what they do at the start of every episode: "In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit" ... The A-team series had me glued to the screen from an early age. B.A. baracus, "Howling" Mad Murdock, Face man and John "Hannibal" Smith were the main characters who made up the unlawful, ex-military, crime fighting A-team gang who traveled the globe, helping out victims of violence. There was one catch however... they didn't ... Read the complete review

The A-Team was one of the most iconic television series of the 1980's. Even though I wasn't around in the 80's as I was only born in 88, I first watched the first episode about 4 months ago and from watching it I immediately went on to Amazon.co.uk and bought the whole set. Hannibal Smith (George Peppard), Murdock (Dwight Schultz), ... Read the complete review

The A Team is an American adventure action TV series that ran for 5 seasons from 1983 to 1986. It featured a gang of four men working as soldiers of fortune, on the run from the authorities, wanted for crimes they did not commit. The show is one of the most memorable in my view, and I must have watched nearly every episode. The characterisation is ... Read the complete review

Firstly this is a classic, and should always be considered great prime time tv for all ages. Based on ex soldiers who travel around America helping folks out to punish bullies who terrorise them and their familes or businesses. The characters are legends in their own rights from BA to Murdoch, Face etc, each one is a legend. The ... Read the complete review

It brings back memories of my childhood in South Africa during the 80's and Friday nights at my gran's house. The music, BA and his gold chains, Face and all those women, Murdoch and his crazy behaviour under the leadership of Hannibal the man with the plan. It was in a league of its own even though watching it now proves how cheesy the 80's TV ... Read the complete review

The A-team was one of, if not the, best serial action series of its kind that has ever been made. Its cast and crew produced an amazing series that allowed viewers to experience the unthinkable. As a child of the eighties this has to be my all time favourite programme. There was a period in the 80's when there were a few US tv shows that still hold a place in the 20-25 year old males heart. We had Knight Rider, Streethawk, Airwolf but the ultimate was The A-Team. The A-Team is one of those brilliant programmes that people of my generation remember from their youths, and get a bit misty-eyed just thinking about. Sat here now, the memories are flooding back... This show was made in the 1980s, and was very controversial. The aspect that made it so was the violence, which nowadays looks somewhat tame. I remember being in Sunday School at church and all us kids loved it but the teachers were telling us how awful it was because it glorified violence. George Peppard defined his role as Hannibal ...
