Ace of Cakes is a reality show on UKFood following Chef Duff and his team at Charm City Cakes in Baltimore. They are bakers and cake decorators, but not your ordinary kind. Some of the more memorable cakes from the show were two ostriches that barely fit in the back of the van to be delivered and a cake for an award ceremony that had fireworks coming out of it. I am a keen cake decorator which is what led me to the show but you don't have to be to enjoy it and be amazed at what they do. Ace of Cakes is a reality television show on the sky channel Good Food. The show is all about the workings of cake shop in Baltimore, Maryland called Charm City Cakes run and owned by Duff Goldmen. The program shows all the workings of the cake shop: the customer coming in and picking the cakes they want, the one major thing about the shop is that they don't have set designs the customer says exactly what they want and it is nice to hear the sorry of the reason they want the cake. I am addicted to food programs, especially those dealing with the making and decorating of desserts. When I lived in Florida one of my favorite television channels was Food Network, I could sit and watch it all day. Every Sunday part of the TV line-up was a show called "Food Network Challenge," which was the highlight of my night. The premise of this show was a competition between groups of cake decorators/pastry chefs to produce a cake adhering to the specific theme of that week.
