Airline is an entertaining show currently showing on friday primetime at 8pm - this suprises me as I'm not sure the shows content warrants this spot! The basic premise is that the film team follow staff on the ground (at checkin and airside) dealing with customers prior to them flying Easyjet airline. The customers form two types - your entertaining "cute" stories of hen dos and the typical drunken clientel of the airline, and customers that are stroppy and have turned up late for flights and therefore have an arguement with staff. Airline has had quite an impact on my life. When it first came on, I watched a few episodes here & there and to be honest found it rather dull & repetitive. How many times can you sit through the drunk person who refuses to admit they've had a drink, the person who turns up late for their flight & rants at the desk officer who informs them that they can't board, the amusing rugby players who want to sing all the way to their destination and the crying lady who realises she hasn't got her passport with her? I love watching "fly on the wall" programmes and Airline is the ultimate show for me, working in the Travel Industry the staff are always in the line of fire whether it is their fault or not and Airline is the programme that shows the truth about what actually happens, as the camera crews follow staff and customers around the airport exposing volatile staff and customers! Airline is the unmissable ‘fly on the wall’ program that looks at the Easyjet company. Based at both Luton and Liverpool airports, the show follows the everyday goings on at the airline; irate customers, delayed flights, arguments between staff and customers, and the lives of the people that work there.
