Airline is a fascinating and entertaining series. It follows day-to-day activities with the airline easyjet. I have flown with them myself on a few occasions and find them very good value for money. It is ‘ticket less’ airlines like this that are setting the future of air travel. If only the taxes weren’t so expensive! If like me, you enjoy air travel and flying the series provides an interesting insight into the real events that take place at an airport, everything from leaving a mobile phone switched on in your suitcase, to forgetting your passport or having excess baggage can all cause inevitable problems that lead to passenger delays, something which is always cursed at by travellers.
I think the public are not fully aware of the disciplined organisation, operations, and implications that are required leading to a successful ‘on time’ flight. There are so many factors to satisfy, not least of which, is of course the safety of passengers. No one wants risks to be taken or procedures not to be adhered to, yet everyone wants ‘on time’ flights in all weather!
This British series is, I think something to be proud of. I understand the American’s have already copied our concept! (Makes a change)!
