Intro ----- All star Mr and Mrs is a program which brings celebrity couples from around the world together in a quest to find who knows each other the best. The couples have to answer questions about each other and the couple which gets the most correct answer wins the game and thus proves that they know each other the best. Mr and Mrs is a TV program which features married couples as they are asked questions about each other, designed to test knowledge of your partner in a quiz against other couples. All Star Mr and Mrs is designed to bring on celebrity couples to take part in the quiz, with prizes being based on gifts or money to charity, whereas the original show with Mr and Mrs Joe Bloggs featured them winning something. I enjoy the program, but find it a bit of a borign format. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all seems to be the majority rule here. As the cometitive nature is somewhat nullified by the prizes/money going to charity, it takes away the personal aspect. ...  Read the complete review

The board game Mr & Mrs is a favourite of mine to play at any family parties we have creating much fun and laughter yet also many arguments. So when I saw the TV game show All Star Mr & Mrs I was so excited as I was expecting it to be very similar to the board game. The show originates from the original game show Mr & Mrs which was created by Roy Ward Dickson and aired for over twenty years from 1973. The show was then revived briefly in 1999 hosted by Julian Clarey. All Star Mr & Mrs is the newest version of the game show, which began in 2008, hosted by TV presenters Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton, who are already known from GMTV to be ...  Read the complete review

All Star Mr and Mrs is a Saturday night ITV show hosted by Fern Britton and Philip Schofield. The show has been running in series for about 3 years now in the same format which takes after the first series which originated in 1963. Each episode of the show has 3 celebrity couples (married or otherwise) who compete against each other. There are three rounds in each show, the first two rounds all three couples compete in, and the third round is played by the highest scoring team from the first two rounds. Round One: The "non"-celebrity part of the couple (or least famous in the case of two famous people!) is placed in a boothe with ...  Read the complete review

Mr & Mrs was originally ran from the 1960s to the 1980s, with Derek Batey being the best known presenter. The premise of the show was to discover how much married couples knew about each other. A late 90s version was hosted by Julian Clary but flopped badly. The current incarnation of the show is hosted by Philip Schofield & Fern Britton & features celebrities, hence the title "All Star Mr & Mrs". The show airs on ITV on Saturday nights and features three sets of celebrity couples. Round One sees one half of the couple (usually the celebrity) isolated in the booth whilst their partner answers the questions. Round Two sees the couple ...  Read the complete review
