American Dad

I was always into the Simpsons and then got into Family Guy which I love and then someone recommended American Dad to me which is the newest of the three and I must say I love it I would still put Family Guy ahead just but American Dad has the same sort of humour. I have only just recently got into American Dad. Have been a fan of Family Guy for a long time and was told this was a very similar kind of humour. American Dad is an American animated comedy. The show follows what is supposed to be an average American family, but of course there is nothing that normal about them. The characters are Stan Smith who is the dad and works for the CIA. MY OPINION I think that American dad is a very funny show. I absolutely love it it is very entertaining to watch and i think the best character is Rodger the alien. I love his different outfits and persona's he adapts to suit each one. He is the most fun and brings the most laughs i think hes very quirky and his sarcastic sense of humor is funny too. I think its the best animated show iv seen and that it is very well designed plus the episodes are always very funny. From the creator of Family Guy comes American Dad! This animated show follows a similar character structure to both the Simpsons and Family Guy, with a Father, Mother, Son, Daughter and .... alien. Whilst Stan (the father) isn't quite as funny as Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin, he still has his moments (and a lot of them), as the left wing CIA agent. American Dad is written by Seth MacFarlane the same person who brought us family guy, so if you have seen that then you can guess the type of humour in this show and so there's no need to say this is not a cartoon for kids. We have a whole new group of odd characters in Seth's latest creation, each with their own little quirks. Stan, is the father, he is an FBI agent and (attempts) to be a typical man.
