Gets tougher (American Idol)

I've been watching American Idol for quite sometime now and I can say it's a good entertaining show. This is a good opportunity for those who have talent on singing and performing on stage, I can also say it's about charm or charisma to get America's vote. For seven seasons, 3 judges holds the right to say their opinions and tell how good or how bad the contestant's performance. Now on its eight season there are four of them, namely Simon, Paula, the new judge Kara and Randy, we don't always agree on them but they are the best on that field. New rules means tougher and more competitive, this is what I think this season is.

Right now its too early to say who will be American Idol season eight is, but I can say now who are the best and basically those who will last up to the end. Allison Iraheta, the 16 year teenager has the most powerful voice among girls, but being young can be used as her weakness. Danny Gokey is also good, he has a nice voice and good clean look, while Adam Lambert is the rocker who really can scream and brought the house down. Among the 3, I think Adam really stuns out and has a solid performances for two weeks, plus his look adds appeal to women and it's a good sign for him because majority of votes are mainly from women. But I saw in a newspaper that Adam is kissing a guy too, and I read in the caption that "Adam is Eve".

I like Megan Corkrey but sometimes there's a tendency of her to be over excited when performing, and in the first week she choose a bad song. Anoop did bad on his first performance but he redeem himself and got back in the competition. Matt is the Justin Timberlake sound like, that's what Randy said and its true, but I think he needs go out of that comfort zone for his getting boring.

Alexis Grace got eliminated last week, she tried to convince the judges to make her stay but she failed. That's the newest "twist" in the competition, at the last minute they have to perform again their recent performance, and by that they have to send the message that they deserve to stay for another week in the competition.

Being " marketable" is the main key to win in this contest, its just about how many people will listen to you and will buy your album. But to last and to stay on top is the question after the contest, we all know that every year there will be a new winner, a new one that will caught America's attention. One thing is for sure now, whoever wins this season, will the next big name this year right after his/her declaration as a winner.
