Big Brother certainly kept me entertained throughout the summer. Love it or hate it, you cannot deny its presence as one of (if not, the) biggest hits of the year.... We are all voyeurs! Some more overtly so than others, but nevertheless there is something interesting and powerful about being able to watch fellow humans. I never really thought of myself as a voyeur, even though the signs were there, in that I always enjoyed fly on the wall documentaries. Andrew Davidson was one of my favourites in the house at first, but after a while, I went off him. His endless boasting annoyed me, as well as his inane grinning and gum chewing. He is quite good looking, intelligent and interesting, but far too arrogant and full of himself. Not surprisingly, he was evicted out of the Big Brother house fairly early on. Unfortunately for the ratings, he left just around the time his relationship with Melanie seemed to be getting interesting. Andrew was one of the people in the Big Brother house I absolutely detested, I know that’s a strong word to use but Andy was too full of himself, he was shocked when he was nominated – he thought he was going to win, even at the early stages. He was cheeky and very horrible to people like Caroline and Nicola. When Andrew left I think the Big Brother house became a much better place, Andy was a smarmy person, I’m glad he was voted out at such and early stage. It was a fairly big surprise to most that Andy was second to be kicked out, not least being himself. Gutted I believe is how he described it. I never really liked Andy, he was a bit too cocky for my liking and I assume the other voters took a similar dislike to him for him to be voted out ahead of Caroline! The 3 girls in the house obviously took a real dislike to him but for different reasons. They thought he was too controlling in group situations. Since being kicked out though Andy hasn't done too bad for himself. I've seen him on umpteen TV programmes from VH1 to MTV Select. I don't mean to judge someone that I don't know but personally he really gets on my tits. Andy wasn't in Big Brother for long so obviously never got that close with anyone. Oh, except Mel. But I don't know what attracted her to him? After all he has a lovely grey patch on the side of his head. On a serious note though, I really believe that this fame thing has gone straight to his head. Yesterday I was flicking through a magazine and he was standing there in the nude with a cardboard cut-out of mel over his neither regions.
