Advantages: really funny (in a childish sort of way)

Disadvantages: it's over all too quickly

This is a Nickelodeon cartoon about two beaver brothers called Daggett and Norbert, it was first aired 4 years ago and they have had over 70 episodes made about their lives.

‘Norb’ and ‘Dag’ had been kicked out from the family dam when their mum had a second litter, but they now live together in a bachelor pad (ala Men Behaving Badly) and they can do whatever they like, including a visit to ‘The Largest pile of toenails’ attraction.

Norb (the yellow one) looks after his younger brother; he is the calmer of the two and likes revenge, manipulation and winding his brother up (which he’s very good at). But hates his brothers stupidity, he also has an alias called ‘Baron Bad Beaver’. – Watch him though, he has a short fuse…

Dag (the brown one) seems to have that problem with E numbers, he’s intense but extremely stupid, so stupid that when he drinks a stupidity potion, it doesn’t work! He hates getting tricked by his older brother but really likes dressing up in different costumes. Dag is ‘Muscular Beaver’ in his spare time.

In the 3 series made about the battling brothers you’ll find them travelling to the sun, finding a cure for ‘Stinky Toe’ working through the childhood illness of bed biting as well as lots of other strange and weird storylines. My favourite has to be ‘Open wide for zombies’ where a storm washes the beavers out of their pad and strands them in a scary Dixieland bayou, while Dag tells Norb about his fears about the swamp a Swamp Witch and a man with an alligator head wants their teeth for a special voodoo potion – it’s brilliant.

It’s a very ‘now’ cartoon, lively antics, very colourful and extremely funny. There isn’t any swearing in it at all, unless you call ‘numb booger’ or ‘Spoothead’ swearing? (My favourite is Weasel weeni
e).

It used to be shown on Nickelodeon every day, and has been shown on ITV once or twice. If you get the chance, watch it, you’ll be giggling for hours afterwards.
