Anna is 29, and used to be a nun before leaving her convent due to 'feelings' she was having about her fellow sisters. She works for a skateboard company and likes having a laugh.
Anna did pretty well to get to the final two contestants, and only lost to „

Anna was the most successful female contestant in the Big Brother house and only just lost to Craig. Her initial publicity seemed to concentrate on her sexuality and her previous career of being an ex-nun, but only a few weeks into the show, she shone through in her own right and just became Anna. Her wicked sense of humour was her main asset, she was so witty and funny, but without any malice. She is also intelligent and entertained us all with her singing and playing the guitar. Anna is pretty, quiet at first and seems rather shy, which is probably why she hasn't been seen much since. She has presented a couple of awards at various ceremonies, as well as appearing on a couple of TV programmes, but hopefully she will find her niche and be seen more. *UPDATE* Anna was on TV again on December 23rd, in the programme where the BB housemates were interviewed and asked about their lives since leaving the house. She seemed as normal and as down-to-earth as ever. She said she still does all the things she did before, just that it is "stranger" now, as she gets people stopping her for a chat or to get her autograph, but she says it is "really nice". She is still good friends with Mel. They were shown chatting together at Riverside Studios, where they were doing some filming for TV. Anna is going to try her hand at TV presenting, but modestly doesn't think she will be any good at it. We will wait and see.
I loved Anna on Big Brother. Aside from Craig I would loved to have seen her win the show. She had so much going for her, she had a great sense of humour which the producers picked up on, she kept the house together, providing a bridge between the different groups which formed but most of all she was a facinating character. There can't be many lesbian ex-nuns out there! For a moment you thought you had her figured out then bang, she'd come out with something which took you by complete surprise. Anna gained a lot of fans for the way she stood up to Nick when he was making comments about George Michael. Up until then she, like Tom, had faded a bit into the background. Perhaps that was a good thing. While some were annoying the housemates and the voting public, Anna was just staying in the background. Another of her qualities came out near the end of the show, having played basketball at a pretty high level. I've only seen Anna the once since leaving Big Brother and that was on a cat walk at some fashion show and boy did she look different. I think I prefer the down to earth look.
Anna should have won Big Brother and must feel gutted. She was the victim of a terrible smear campaign by such trash as The Sun and she was the only genuinely nice person in the house. I think it's great she isn't afraid to reveal she is a lesbian on screen and I think her down-to-earth persona coupled with her interesting guitar talents made her very entertaining to watch. It's a shame a lot of companies are still homophobic and won't offer her any deals, due to Anna being the least marketable of the housemates. Forget Craig, Anna is the true winner in my book.
Anna was definitley the best contestant on Big Brother, and I am so gutted that she didn't win! Not only was she funny and talented but she was also genuinely nice. Anna was never nasty to her fellow contestants, she was always supportive and tried to lift everyone's spirits with her wacky songs. An ex-nun who definitley has the patience of a saint, you would need to have to teach thicko Darren how to play the guitar without losing your rag! I hope that Anna will go on to do bigger and better things as she was the most deserving of the contestants to do so, however I do hope that she hasn't branded herself as the token lesbian forever or that would be a shame.
Well, she almost won. I was an avid Anna supporter right up until the very end, but the minute Craig made that wonderful gesture towards joanne's treatment, I cried and was extremely glad he had won. Anyway, I digress. Anna was certainly, without a shadow of a doubt the funniest person in the house, her impression of Craig was just so funny I was rolling on the floor, and she was also the most interesting. classed the 'lesbian skateboarding nun' I thought she was absolutely fantastic, and certainly one of the most genuine people in the house. Whatever she decides to do with all the money she's going to make from newspapers etc. good for her, you go anna! And wasn't her girlfriend sweet??!! oh, and sorry for the pun in the title.
Anna is a 29 year old ex nun. I think she was a brilliant part of Big Brother, and she was not a big flirt like Mel and the other girls. She was funny and haad a great personality. Although she didn't win the 70,000 pounds, she did win a holiday for two, which I think is fair enough. I still cannot believe how close the voting was. It ended up being Craig 51% and poor Anna 49%. How close was that?! 2%!!! I wish Anna the best in her future years. She is a great girl and I did really want her to win Big Brother. Although she lost, I like what Craig did with that money and thought he was very genorous.
If Craig did not say that he would give the winning money of Big Brother to a sick child, I bet you that ANNA would have won! Anna has been the black sheep in the Big Brother house! Not loud! Not a physho! Just a simple girl who was kind to all the other Big Brother stars. I was hoping that she would win, but the second which I heard Craig saying that he would give the money away, I knew it was all over for her! I know it was a really nice thing that Craig did, but he should not have been allowed to say that on TV, to swing the viewers opinions about himself.
Anna seems like a really nice person, she is compasionate, funny and honest too. Last night we saw her clearly touched by her song request 'Electric Dreams' and then later looking at her photos. I think that there is someone on the outside that she really wants to see. Anna has done well to last out those nine weeks in the house, which must've got harder since she has been the only remaining female. Who would've thought that she and Mel would've struck up such a strong friendship though, they couldn't be more opposite. Well I would like Anna to win and Craig too. It's a shame hat they couldn't come to an arrangement to share the prize money, perhaps they will have to if there is a tie? Well all will be revealed tonight on Channel 4.
Without a doubt Big Brother has been massive and on Friday night it will come to its conclusion, with Anna hopefully winning. Anna has been brilliant all the way through, Anna has been the most entertaining, she brought comedy and music into the house she has also remained to be one of the most honest people in the house. Although in its final week I have come to like all the contestants I think Anna is the main person who deserves to win, but I’m very worried about Craig winning – I wouldn’t mind if he did win, but I do think that Anna was the most entertaining, funniest and entertaining persons right through the whole 62 days of Big Brother. >> Vote Anna to !WIN! On 09011 980 101 UPDATE : Well... she didnt win! It was close though. Anna was great all through but what Craig done with the money was brilliant of him. I hope this isnt the last we see of Anna.
Anna just whips every little arse in that house to shreds. I couldnt help but notice her amazing success in the most recent tasks, with the Highway code test and the physical. I think she pretty much did better than anyone, beating Craig at his own game, so what does he have left except for a very toned midget body and slightly orange tan? I think from the passing weeks we have been shown Annas wit, humour, brains and skill. She gets on with it without complaint, unless in a humorous manner. She is supportive, caring and genuine, but level headed enough to understand how not to get on the wrong side of people. Some might believe that she is cunning; worse than Nick. This seems illogical to me - she doesnt break rules, and the only way that she uses her potential shrewdness is in making people like her. Isn't that what they all do? I am much more likely to fall into her amusing 'like-me' trap tahn into someone's who believes flexing his muscles and talking about his 'many orgies/sexual experiences'. Most people have fantasies, but few manage to convince themselves so well that they are true. Let alone try to convince everyone else.
This girl just seems too good to be true. Is she genuine or just a great genius at playing the sham. I have this awful feeling that behind that little girl smile there is something more determined than she would like us all to see. She is soo nice to everyone always there to offer advice give a pat on the back, but did you see the relief on her face when she wasn't nominated for the last time. She seems to make a big thing out of making sure we all hear her swear every now and then and sympathising with each of the others in turn. Is this to let us know she can be the rebellious bad person one minute, and yet can give a listening ear when needed. No I think there is more to this ex-Nun than we are seeing. We will have to wait until the week-end to find out.
Big Brother - seems I missed the best bits - Randy Andy, Nick etc. My sister raved about it and I thought - nah - load of old wotsits. Then I was transported away to North Devon for a weeks holiday followed by another week in Cornwall. It was agony - no Sky Sports/Eurosport or any other digital stuff. I was forced to watch - (drum roll) - terrestrial telly(shock horror). Once night after watching Eastenders (look there was little else on), I plumped for Big Brother on C4. We were watching the last week of Claire. So what do I think of it after 2 weeks: Pro's ===== * Its quite addictive. You do switch on the show out of curiousity value. I've even watched them on the BB web-site. * People watching. Anna and Mel are determined to win and would vote together to get the other out. They are both quite ruthless - especially Anna. * Some people are going to make themselves a lot of money from the media in the short term. * It will also do wonders for C4 and their viewing figures. For the cost of setting it up - they must be laughing all the way to the bank. Wait for the other channels copying it !! Con's ===== * That C4 woman on Friday night who wanders over the bridge, interviews those ejected from the house and really gets on my t*ts. She is an absolute irritation and must be dreadful to work with. The Friday night eveiction show is awful - too tacky !! * The lack of privacy. Where can you have a good old winge without being filmed ? * The boredom. I would go up the wall if I had to take part in BB. You can't watch TV, go down the Supermarket or have any privacy. You have to be a people person and you can't really escape from someone you don't like. * It really is cheap TV. Won't win awards. Who will win ?? The power base has been broken with the eviction of Mel. Anna seems much quieter with her male house mates. The 2 of them toget
her appeared capable of getting rid of those that threatened (eg Claire). They wanted to get rid of Craig but he wouldn't go. I think Craig will win. He has more personality than the other 2. But hey - so what. I haven't seen anyone salivating over the £70k prize. I await Anna's face when she finds out she hasn't won !!
In the beginning there was Big Brother and it was good, it was very good, but then people started to leave and.....oh dear. There are no more Nasty nicks, no more Tom's and Andy's for Mel to flirt with and no more Caroline's to annoy everyone. Without these sorts of characters every show, even a game show, will go limp and Big Brother certainly has done. Sure it may get interesting towards the end when someone actually wins, but until then expect a dull monotonous show with fewer and fewer characters. If you think that isn't so bad then think about this. Would you watch Eastenders if it only had three cast members?.
Anna is the life and soul of the Big Brother house and I think she deserves to WIN! She's funny, not a flirt, not a snob, can be serious at times, doesn't slag anyone else off in a bad way (that I know of), and she says the most ridiculous things which makes us laugh (well, she gets my tickle buds going anyway). When one of the other house mates is having an 'off' day she comes out with a silly comment and cheers them up. I watched yesterdays programme today and they had to return the 'task' equipment, Anna said "Big Brother's not nice, they're ruining our enjoyment", then she said to Craig, Mel and Darren "don't forget to put your laughs, jokes, sense of humour and smiles in the box as we have nothing else left to do". If you did watch it, you'll know what I mean about her, she's so quick with humour and is one reason why I like her and watch BB. From Ireland and formerly a nun, Anna's only been nominated, I think once if not twice, it just goes to show, the house-mates must like her as they don't vote her out very often To me she is the most genuine person in there and unless she has a trick up her sleeve, I don't see know reason why she shouldn't win! Catch Big Brother on channel 4.
Anna appears to be the most level headed of all the housemates. She seams to be able to hold her temper and be sensible as well as knowing how to enjoy a laugh. As such she does not make the best viewing, but it looks like she is probably easy to live with, which is further evidenced by the fact out of the final four she is the only person not up for eviction. She comes over as a genuinely nice person. I think she probably stands the best chance of winning, but this must also be partly due to the fact compared to some of the others in the house she is rather bland, in many ways nice people are not always the most interesting. However, she has not played the flirting game many of the other have and does not appear to have tried manipulating people This does not necessarily mean she has not, but if she has at least it has been subtle.
