Are you smarter than a 10 year old must have been one of those shows that were really apparent but no one ever thought of it until now. -----What is it? ----- The show consists of one adult and 5 children all aged 10, hosted by Noel Edmonds. The adult has to answer questions that have been chosen by school teachers, from the national curriculum that are specifically designed for children from the age of 6 years old to 10 years old. Now this may not sound difficult, but think how long ago it was since you were 6 years old, or even 10 years old. There are a lot of different categories that the contestant can choose from, some include biology, ... Read the complete review

I decided to watch this tonight having seen it advertised a lot on TV recently. The show reminds me a lot of Deal or No Deal with the audience and Noel Edmonds talking away to the camera. The show basically involves adults playing for money. They are up against a 10 year old who basically knows everything. Contestants can win up to £250,000, however no adult has managed this yet showing that 10 year olds are more intelligent than most of the adults on the show...how embarrassing! I have watched the show tonight and laughed so much at the poor standard of education amongst some adults. Firstly the gentleman on tonight had no idea what an abstract ... Read the complete review

This program annoys me, although i do occasionally watch it! Let me explain the premise, an adult comes on, and are asked questions in catagories from ages 6 - 10 in differing subjects, they can chose a different child for a few questions, and they can use a save, where if they get it wrong, the child can save them if they have it right, a copy, where they put down the answer, or a cheat (i think) where they can see their answer and decide if they want to play it. All fine. What i dont like about the show is the following: The amount of building up and waiting for giving the answer, and then revealing the answer. They typically ... Read the complete review

I've seen a few episodes of this show and I it drives me mad! There are two versions of the show, one hosted by Noel Edmonds during the primetime weekly slot and the other hosted by children's television presenters Dick and Dom, shown during the daytime. In theory the show should be a hit and I do know a few people who like it, but the presenters are so irritating and each episode goes so slowly, a few more questions wouldn't go a miss either! The format of the show is actually rather good, but is spoiled by somewhat in the way the show is delivered I feel. Basically, the game is played by a single adult contestant, who tries to answer ten questions (maybe ... Read the complete review
