Advantages: Its seeing what you remember from school

Disadvantages: The whole premise!

This program annoys me, although i do occasionally watch it!

Let me explain the premise, an adult comes on, and are asked questions in catagories from ages 6 - 10 in differing subjects, they can chose a different child for a few questions, and they can use a save, where if they get it wrong, the child can save them if they have it right, a copy, where they put down the answer, or a cheat (i think) where they can see their answer and decide if they want to play it.

All fine.

What i dont like about the show is the following:

The amount of building up and waiting for giving the answer, and then revealing the answer. They typically probably do one question every 2 - 3 minutes. Now i know thye have to build up tension and all that, but Im watching a half hour show that has 10 questions that if they were in a magazine i could do in a minute. It just feels like i am wasting my time watching it.

The other problem i have is that it is insinuating that if you dont know one of these questions, the child is smarter than you. Now if stephen hawkins was asked whats the red one called in seseme street, im sure he wouldnt know, while a child who watches it would. Does that make the child smarter than stephen hawkins??? The generalisation of the whole thing annoys me so much, especially when Noel says you have to say into the camera 'I am not smarter than a 10 year old'. If it was me, I would refuse to say it, maybe you could say that i am not as smart as a 10 year old on trivial kids stuff, that arent important, and you only teach kids to try and get them on a level to learn other stuff.

Anyway, thats why it annoys me! Watch an episode for yourself to see, but dont but one of these games, otherwise your probably not as smart as a 10 year old.

Summary: Change the title and the aim of the show to can you remember what you were taught at school
