Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old is a quiz show shown a Sky One. It was orininally hosted by Dick & Dom. The newer series is hosted by Noel Edmonds. The top prize is now £250,000

On the show, an adult must answer 10 questions which are in the national curriculum for 6 to 10 year olds. They can choose from a range of subjects that come up on the board. These subjects include maths, science, english grammar and more. There is a 'class' of six 10 year olds. The contestant has to choose one of the kids to help them if needed. This child can only help them for two questions, then they choose another child.

There are 3 cheats that can be used once during the game (peak, copy and save). The peak cheat lets the contestant peak at their chosen childs answer and they can go with that answer if they want. The copy means they have to go with the childs answer and the save will be used if the contestant gets the answer wrong but the kid gets it right.

If the contestant loses they must look into the camera and say 'I am not smarter than a 10 year old!'.

The questions on this show are harder than you'd expect for a 10 year old. The kids are very clever. The only problem with the show is its very obvious the kids have been given the answers to revise before the show.
