Advantages: Excellent CGI, constantly evolving, great ships, characters etc.

Disadvantages: Nope!

In many peoples eyes this is the finest sci fi series ever. It;s probably due to the 5 year arc that was put on the table at the very beginning, and which hardly changed over the years. The characters are extremely well played by the actors, and the 90% of the episodes are brilliant in one or another.

The graphics were computer generated right from the very start, and included some of the coolest battle scenes ever in sci fi, with a multitude of completely different ships (even including flying saucers, and big spider like thingies!) and of course the station itself, home to 250000 people.

Picking a favourite character is tricky, as there are so many to choose from, and they're all extremely believable, despite some really wierd things going on right at the death, but it all works in the end, and it's a real tear jerker when they blow the station up!

Class from start to finish, whatmore can you say about B5!

I agree that this is the best sci-fi show ever made. As for a favourite character, although a tough choice I'd have to go with Garibaldi. His character is immensely interesting throughout the five seasons, with his finest moment coming in the final episode of season four.
