Advantages: Okay to watch when nothing else is on

Disadvantages: Annoying presenter, gets repetitive

Balls of steel is a programme on channel 4 that features guests who come on and perform stunts or generally make fools of themselves. There are a total of 19 episodes so far and each episode features 6 out of a total of 12 'acts'.

The audience vote for the act they liked best and the winner is presented with a marvellous pair of balls in the form of a metal statue

-Alex Zane-

Hosts made up game shows which can at times be pretty funny, especially the one where he had a mastermind champion on and the guy went mad as he was made to look ridiculous.

-The Pain Men-

The two welsh blokes from dirty sanchez, this can be mildly amusing at times but they get quite annoying quite quickly.

-Bunny Boiler-

Thaila Zucchi, she goes upto random couples and flirts outrageously with the boyfriends. This girl is absolutely stunning so beware girls!

-The Annoying Devil-

Barrie hall does his best to make a nuisance of himself, in one outing he devotes all his time to annoying one single fellow, usually there are a collection of shorter clips that make up his segment.

-Prank TV-

Olivia Lee, has a laugh at the expense of celebrities, if i remember correctly she squirted that horrible little man Tom Cruise with a microphone and he took it really seriously. Why dont you go and worship xemu you freak. Anyway it was lovely to see him get taken down a peg or two.

-Big Gay Following-

Eric Page. A big Bear who propositions gentleman for coetus, coyly remarking 'fancy a bum'. Fairly funny but a bit repetitive.

-Neg's Urban Sports-

Neg Dupree. The chav with the cowboy hat. I really dont want to like this one but i must admit that i do. Its basically a guy called Neg going round being antisocial. The best one is when he goes knocking on doors and then demanding to know what the resident wants as if theyve knocked for him. Loses a little in translation but it is really funny.

-Militant Black Guy-

Toju Okorodudu, picks fights over race issues. I dont find this one very funny. I understand the concept of defeating racism with humour but some of the older people seem genuinely frightened as theres a bloke in their shop raising his voice and acting aggresively.

-Mr Inappropriate-

Tim Shaw, as the segment title suggests, behaves inappropriately at inopertune moments. Such as selling double glazing at 4 in the morning, and sitting at toilet.....in a bathroom shop! This one is pretty crude but can be quite funny.

-Scummy Mummy-

Carla Lynch. Upsets the general public by exhibiting appauling parental skills to the nation. In one part she chains her child to a railin outside a pub, probably not everyones idea of humour although i have laughed myself at times.

-Randy Cambells Stunts-

Chris stapp is New Zealands 'top stunt man'. I dont understand this one at all. Basically a stunt is set up then it all goes terribly wrong, I could get it if this was a one off piece and it was believable that the stunt wasnt meant to go wrong but as it is i just dont find this one entertaining.

-nob Jockey-

Paul Tilliard rides men for as long as possible dressed as a camp pink jockey. Not really all that funny.

-The B**tard in Black-

Laurence Rickard unfairly referees matches, can be quite funny but at times it gets so unbelievable that it becomes obvious the players are aware its a wind up, then it sort of defeats the purpose.

-Robin Huxtable Naked Man-

Andrew Clover, as you may have already acsertained the subtle nuances of this sketch i'll be brief. Nakedness is always big and its always clever : P tee hee

-Man Tester-

Dawn Porter (i think now has a series of documentaries) picks up men in bars before revealing a shocking truth about herself to see if they stay or bolt. One episode she goes lumbering off to the toilet in a really strange way and the look on the blokes face is superb. Think this is my favourite one.

-The Penis Fly Trap-

I must confess ive never seen this one so i cant really comment on it, sounds painful though : )

-The ****ers-

This ones a little cheeky and basically sees Tony Parsons and Kelly Burgess unable to keep their grubby hands off eachother, this one offends my British sensibilities (heh heh).

-Escapologist-

Jonathan Goodwin, simple escapology this one, ive only seen a couple of these ones but the best one i remember was a little train set with a hyperdermic on the locomotive with only three destinations in mind including Testicle Junction, Yowzer!!!! It was obviously set up though, he lets the needle stick his cheek and then errm his other cheeks but "narrowly" evaded getting his nuts pierced, you could see he could have got out in 2 or 3 seconds flat though.

-The Worlds Worst-

I havent seen this one either im afraid so alas cannot properly comment. From what i understand Ross Lee takes on a number of jobs only to perform woefully ineptly at them.

I will sometimes watch this show if theres nothing else on but i dont actively seek it out. It is presented by an absolute lemon named Mark Lemon Eh I mean Dolan...yes Dolan thats right. He is about as appealing as receiving a circumcision performed by well eerrrmm oh aha...someone who is not very good at performing circumcisions (Phew! i pulled that one out of the bag).

A 3 stars is well deserved for this programme, its mildly entertaing but with a living breathing arse for a presenter.

Summary: Not great but just ok
