Bang Goes The TheoryNewest Review: ... somewhat dangerous experiments of which they are not completely certain of the outcome. Most of the time it is genuinely interesting with a lot of ideas, facts and information I had never heard of, which, as a science student, came as a bit of a surprise. It does this quite well, the presenters are enthusiastic, all the science is well explained and the viewer can expect to learn a variety of interesting facts. There is a lot of content in the 30 minute show and it is divided into sections with each of the four presenters doing something completely different giving a nice variety of different aspects of science. The presenters are all very hands on and do everything including a few somewhat dangerous experiments of which they are not completely certain of the outcome. Most of the time it is genuinely ... The BBC 1 show Bang goes the Theory, aired on Monday nights at 19:30, promises to "put scientific theory to the test" and examine "how science shapes the world around us", spread over 10 half hour episodes. The best thing about this programme is that the presenters actually get involved in science, and dream up weird and wonderful experiments and demonstrations to show science in action. So far these have included amongst other things building a vortex canon to blow over a brick house (like the big bad wolf and three pigs) using nothing but a blast of air, cooking an egg in a paper pan, creating a water powered jet pack, making ...
