Baywatch

Newest Review: ... intro scene where Pamela swims underwater, breasts bulging under her swim-suit, men everywhere were hooked! In all seriousness, there is some enjoyment to be had as a young lad out of the basic storylines, but it soon becomes clear to a discerning adult that this isn't a very good show. IF YOU LIKED IT: There's a Baywatch film (yuck!) called 'Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding'. If you liked it because of the nudity, you'll possibly enjoy the 'American Pie' series of films. IN CONCLUSION: Basic storylines and acting, but more fake boobs than a joke shop!... more

WHAT IS IT ABOUT: A group of beautiful lifeguards patrol the LA beaches, keeping swimmers safe from drowning, earthquakes, shark attacks and even nuclear bombs! The show ran from 1989 to 1999 and starred David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon, and a host of big breasted women as lifeguards. WAS IT ANY GOOD: Let's be honest, this show has two main appeals: the left and right breast! As a kid I never could figure out why my dad would let us watch such a rubbishy piece of trash TV, but I now understand it wasn't for the storyline! Interestingly, this show was dropped after a year, but David Hasselhoff then got involved and transformed it to the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dont watch baywatch (248 words)

After hearing a rumour recently that TV bosses were planning to bring back the god awful TV programme Baywatch that used to feature amongst other crap actors and actresses, none other than Pamela Anderson, I thought it was my duty to write this as a reminder to those who remember it or a warning to those who don't, not to watch it this time round. Baywatch was a programme based on the beach in which the cast were mostly lifeguards or love interests for the various lifeguards except from the occasional victim of the sea who needed rescued, although most of them ended up becoming love interests for the lifeguards. You are getting the picture now I ...  Read the complete review

Baywatch is an extremely popular TV drama series that ran from 1989 to 2001. It centres round the lifeguards of a Californian beach, and often features links with local police as well as the personal lives of the characters. The show was initially cancelled following an unsuccessful first season, but former Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff felt there was more in the program, and pushed for its return, which came in 1991. Since then, the show soared in the ratings, and is in fact in the Guinness Book of Records for being the most watched TV show ever. Hasselhoff took the lead role in Baywatch, starring as Mitch Buchanan, the lieutenant in charge ...  Read the complete review

Learn how to save a life (1219 words)

In my opinion, Baywatch is the best show ever made on this earth! I have seen 90% of the episodes ever made. I have not just got baywatch episodes on tape or DVD, i also have many other items of merchandise. Everything ranging from books to CD's to models (that’s car models by the way) etc! If you’ve never heard of Baywatch before, though that’s unlikely as Baywatch has been covered by the media zillions of times (more pictures to add to my collection…yippeeeee), then it is basically about lifeguards who patrol Santa Monica beach in Los Angeles (USA, if you’re no good at Geography). Baywatch focuses on the lives of lifeguards ...  Read the complete review

Baywatch: No more to be filmed - sniff sniff (349 words)

If I said I watched Baywatch for the acting I somehow don’t think you’d believe me – so I’ll be honest I watch it for the bouncy female lifeguards in revealing bikinis! Baywatch used to be a primetime Saturday teatime programme, now what is it? ITV show it in the middle of the night at 3am! And not because it is uncut! The acting is quite frankly dire. The storylines are quite frankly dire. The location is bloody amazing! The girls are brilliant! That about sums Baywatch up! Baywatch was the show that turned Pamela Anderson from a pretty face to a superstar. When she quit Baywatch though she didn’t go on and achieve ...  Read the complete review
