Bear In A Big Blue House

Description: Bear in the Big Blue House features a charming cast of Muppets that educate and entertain through childhood exploration.

Newest Review: ... Tutter, Ojo, and Pip and Pop. Each episode features Bear as he goes about his day, talking to us as viewers, bringing a bit of interactivity by asking us questions. Quite often, one of his friends will be a little bit upset or have a problem that needs solving, and Bear is always on hand to help or to give advice to, sort of like a parent to the others. They all live in the Big Blue House, ... more

... and the episodes are often peppered with some catchy songs. It's an American programme, and the voices are all American accents. What I like about it is that Bear always recaps things at the end of the show, and as each episode lasts for a day in the ...more

Parents with kids and access to the Sky kids channels will likely have come across this appealing show which we watched in the evenings just before Will went to bed up until recently. It airs on the Disney Channel and is around a half an hour long. I suppose when you look at it, it is more geared towards kids between 6 and 10 in terms of the content. The main character is Bear (the big bear top left in the picture above), and he lives in a house with his friends who include Tutter, Ojo, and Pip and Pop. Each episode features Bear as he goes about his day, talking to us as viewers, bringing a bit of interactivity by asking us questions. Quite often, one of his ...  Read the complete review

Bear in the Big Blue House is a children’s programme shown on Channel 5 and, I believe, the Disney Channel. It has been around for at least three or four years, but as we have only just managed to receive Channel 5, we are recent converts to the show. We have also acquired the odd video or three. There are many reasons why I like this show. My name is English Lady and I am addicted to Bear in the big blue house. Don't laugh, it's true! I blame it all on my sister! Ok i'll explain. Are you sitting comfortably? This could take me a while. Whilst staying back at my parents house at Easter earlier this year, I sat and watched Playhouse Disney with my sister (who is 19 yeares old by the way) and although she does this on sa regular basis anyway, my excuse was my little baby girl Bethanny (then around 5 months old) Anyway we got hooked. I found out it was on channel 5 at 8 am in the morning so it soon became a morning ritual, we'd watch ...  Read the complete review

I must admit, when I first saw Bear in the Big Blue House I thought another american kids program which would be over the top and hard for my children to understand, but oh, how wrong I was, I happened to come downstairs one morning to find Bear on channel 5 it was about 8.00am when it started on channel 5's Milkshake kids programmes, The first thing I noticed was my youngest son (who's nearly two) dancing and trying to sing along to the theme tune (which I have to say is pretty catchy), he was really captivated by this big bear, which has a really lovely american accent. The Characters.. Bear Treelo (lemur) Ojo (little bear) Tutter ...  Read the complete review
