Beauty and the GeekNewest Review: ... the boys. The challenges are meant to switch each persona so for example the girls will get something like sorting through garbage to do some recycling. The guys however have had challenges such as buy the girl an outfit to wear for an occasion. There are also team challenges which include things such as rescuing the girls from a burning building and acting a soap opera scene. All of the ... more |

Beauty and the geek is relatively new to me and since I discovered it I have now watched 2 seasons of it. I find it to be the most annoying but highly entertaining show that is on TV and it seems to capture my full attention every time. This even meant that last week I didn't go to see my in laws on time because I wanted watch it so that is how sad I am. Here is why I think it is at least worth a watch. The actual show has a simple premise, it brings together about 10 girls (and once one guy) who are beautiful and have such jobs such as Hooters girl or model. Then you also have 10 guys who are considered geeks so they6 have very high SAT scores or are ... Read the complete review

Reality TV shows seem to have been the big fad over the past few years, and Beauty and The Geek is another show that comes under this category. This show started of in the US and much like The Apprentice is also came to this country, however of course in this country Beauty and The Geek never took off in the same way that The Apprentice did. However I will mainly be talking about the original and better version which is The American version. Essentially this program has a very simply concepts. A group of beautiful girls the 'beauties' and a group of nerdy guys who are the 'geeks'. A girl from the group has to team up with a guy and each week one team will get ... Read the complete review

This show started off in the USA and then progressed to the UK later on, and I think that the concept makes great TV entertainment. This is a reality TV show that has one beautiful girl and one really geeky smart guy that has barely any experience with women team up together to make try and learn about how life is at the other side. The couples are given different tasks that help them learn from each other. The geeks are generally given woman pulling and fashion tips and the beautiful girls are given maths, science and other general knowledge lessons and tips. The couples normally find out that there is more to people than just stereotypes, ... Read the complete review

Many things that are a hit in the USA soon make their way over the pond to the UK and the television series Beauty and the Geek is no exception. It was dubbed 'the ultimate social experiment' which frankly I think is a little over the top. The aim of the show is very simple.....to entertain. It matches extremely attractive yet intellectually lacking women with stereotypically 'geeky' looking, socially awkward men who are ultra intelligent. In their pairs which are decided at the start of the show, which is a series, the ladies have to conquer a number of mental challenges, while the men have to show prowess in some difficult social situations, it's very funny if a little ... This is an American reality game show and it follows the usual formula of throwing some strange people together and setting up some scenarios that will give the viewing public something to laugh at as the various contestants make fools of themselves or each other. The idea behind this show is to throw together two very different stereotypes, pair them up in teams and to see what each can learn from the other as they compete for a cash prize along the way, oh and the chance of any romance is an added bonus. In this case all the males are classed as nerdy geeks who have no skills when it comes to romance or much of an understanding outside of their areas of ... Read the complete review
