Advantages: Great programme

Disadvantages: series not long enough

This darkly comic drama is about a Werewolf called George (played by Russell Tovey) and a Vampire called Michel (played by Aidan Turner) who move to a house in Bristol to try and lead a normal life and find that the house is haunted by a Ghost named Annie (played by Leonora Crichlow). The episodes tell the story of the trials and tribulations of the three which includes George's need to be away from people when there is a full moon, Michel's relationship with Herrick (who made him a vampire) and Annie's struggle to find out how she died. I first saw the pilot episode last year and I thought it was brilliant. I was so happy that it was then chosen to be made into a full series. I like the way they had made some of the episodes focus on the background stories of the characters, but my personal favourite episode was the one where Michel meets a 12 year old boy who was being bullied but a mishap with a DVD leads a baying mob to the door.

Being Human series 2 is currently being filmed and will be airing in January 2010.

Summary: BBC3 drama

A Werewolf, a Vampire and aGhost would be a LARGE upgrade compared to what (used in the correct context!)lives next door to us at the moment!
