Advantages: Good old fashioned Clean Fun Comedy

Disadvantages: Some people unable to translate the American terms ie. Grits etc

Used to watch as a child. Good old fashioned fun. Story lines silly at times but enjoyable. Granny the old matriarch the some times wisest member of the family. Jethro somewhat of a likeable dimwit always ready to help. Ellie-May the dum blond with a great love of animals. Pa, desperate to find someone to love again.Great thing that the money never really changed them, totally oblivious of how wicked the outside world really is. Overall a really enjoyable watch. One of the better series to come out of the US.

Summary: Good clean fun. A must to watch for the over forties especially, but sure the young will enjoy also.
