Advantages: Some housemates, good entertainment

Disadvantages: Fixed and set up? Had its run

I have watched Big Brother pretty mcuh since in started 10 years ago. Over the 10years it has had its ups and downs, high's and low's but no-one can deny that it has been a popular reality show which sparked numerous other reality shows taking on the same formula. It is popular because it is a show which everyone can watch and sometimes even relate to the people on there, it opens up new issues for people to discuss. At the beginning of each series we always here about the type of people who are going in, such as transexuals, bisexuals, rich mummys boys, bimbo's, models, wannabe wags etc, the point is once people get to know these people on the programme the stereotype becomes a distant memory and you actually get to know the person, in todays society this is a great thing as it shows not to judge people before you know them. Obviously Big Brother doesnt have the most outstanding role models or in fact, people, but what it aims to achieve is to entertain! Whether you like or dislike the characters there is always someone to talk which entertains the puiblic.

I do like Big Brother and I ave enjoyed watching it, however I do think that manbe this should be the last series, it has had an excellet run over the 10 eyars and maybe in 2010 ther eshould be a new TV phenomeom to take its place. It has maybe become more like Big Brother having to set up the entertainment in the house and not the housemates doing it for themselves. Even with this said I will still continue to watch the rest of this series. (I'll probably even watch the next series if it happens!)

Summary: Its been a great show over the past 10 years, but maybe its time to call it a day?
