At first, Big Brother was a really fascinating new format at a time when reality TV was new. The excitement of winning a prize of £70,000, the possibility of becoming a Z list celebrity having appeared in it. It all seemed too good to be true. But really, now after 10 years of running, the only one who is doing well out of it is Davina and even that is questionable as she will always be stereotyped for having hosted both the regular and celebrity version of it in the UK. The makers though have done the best. I cannot remember how many countries have bought rights to the TV format, but it has sold far and wide. But now enough is enough. It is a complete waste of anybody's life to sit around watching people sitting around in a hot tub or playing a stupid game to win points or bitching about their rivals in the diary room. It's time we turned away from reality TV and started actually living our own lives. I haven't tuned into it for years, but will be so ecstatic when the final show has come to a close this summer. As for Davina, she will be able to retire a very rich woman!
