If you don't know then Big Brother is a reality tv show where ten people are chosen to live in a house together but they are constantly being filmed and watched by the nation. Each week they participate in tasks and each week someone is kicked out of the house by a nomination process.

I really enjoyed the first few series of this and I did get hooked although not enough to watch it 24/7 like some people do! The people were fairly normal and the arguements and fall outs were entertaining but fairly tame. The tasks were the highlight of the week along with the game 'Guess who's going to be evicted' that would run in our house.

These days the producers of the show seem to think that choosing the most ridiculous of characters will enhance the show but it does the total opposite. I expect that stupid things are going to happen so iuts not entertaining anymore. What tended to happen in the last few series before I stopped watching it was the same arguements and fall outs but with different people.

The other thing that I absolutely cannot stand about this programme is how sexualised it's become. In the beginning it was funny watching the sexual tension develop between certain people but these days its just become like a porn show. The producers seem to encourage this by putting hot tubs in and making people share beds. If I wanted to watch people having sex then I'd watch a porn video but as it happens I don't.

All in all this show has definitely out stayed its welcome and I'll be glad to see the back of it!
