Advantages: Brilliant viewing, Great contestants

Disadvantages: addictive

I can't believe that I'm hooked again. I thought that after last Summer a Big Brother 2 would not live up to my expectations. Last Summer I was hanging on to every word that came out of Craig Phillips mouth and crossing all my fingers toes and anything else so that he would win. And win he did!

He has now established himself as a regular on T.v DIY shows. He is doing what he used to do for a living but now it is on t.v! Hurrray for Craig.

When Big Brother 2 started I was a bit sceptical. At first glance there didn't seem to be the characters that there were from the the first series. But how wrong I was.

Penny - didn't she reveal herself (in more ways than one). She went absolutley mental after being nominated. She was a clening freak and had a very volatile relationship with Stuart in which I was totaly supportive of Penny!

Stuart - very quiet to start with then he started to rub people up the wrong way. He had a mega barney with Amma which so could have been avoided (the girl was dead drunk and in the mood for an arguement) Stuart should have just walked away but no, he was far too up himself, full of self importance to leave it! Thankfully he was ousted. The only good thing that happened with Stuart was when he scared Brian with the wierd contact lenses!

Narinda - at first she got on my nerves because she seemed really up herself. But after watching her friendship with Brian develop I saw a new funny side to Narinda. I admired her out spokenness whcihc nearly got her into trouble a few times, especially with Helen.

Bubble - annoyed me at first but then I realised that he was a diamond Geezer. I enjoyed watching al the banter between Brian and Bubble. I was quite annoyed when Big Brother wouldn't let Bubble have the letters above his bed. His daughter must be a very lucky girl. I was overcome by his emotion when he had to leave.

Elizabeth - there is always one person who i don't
particulary like. Elizabeth is a bit too quiet for my liking. She seems a bit snobbish and has those quiet chats with Dean, where they end up slagging people off especially Helen. I don't think she deserves to win cause she is a bit boring and very middle class.

Amma - again for a long time I didn't like her, but after hearing her fart and burp for Britian I quite liked her, a girl after my own heart. She was very outspoken and lived in that orange blanket. I think she was quite sly but she played the game well.

Dean - nice bloke, not much else to say. He is always playing the guitar or comforting Helen like a father figure. Like Elizabeth he hasn't really shone through with an amazing character but he has scared Brian a few times with his jokes!

Josh - I found it a bit odd that a stranger was let in. We all knew he was gay (or bi-sexual) but i had the sneaky feeling that nothing would happen between him and Brian. I think Josh was a very strong character which was probably his down fall. But he had all the girls exercising and had several disagreements with Brian. I think Josh helped Brian a lot in the house.

Paul - He was like another Craig, being nominated so many times yet he never got a complex about it. Very laddish but he showed his true self over the business with helen. He showed that it wasn't all about sex and that he wasn't a rogue. I really liked Paul but never saw him as a series winner.

Helen - what can I say she is a welsh girl like me. But how different we are. I sometimes find myself cringing when Helen opens her mouth. She is far too sensitive and not very quick on the uptake. She can be extremely gullible especially with the hypnosis scam but she is really a likeable girl. Like the psychologists have said she is like the little girl in the family. I would like to see her win. But I don't think she will be sharing the prize money with Big G!

Brian - my favorite to scoop
the money! He is just so fantastic. He is always making me laugh. I am rather concerned about his obsession with demons and his overuse of the word evil. I think he might need some councelling. I don't know why straight women are drawn to Gay men (not just in a sexual sense). I love the way Brian reacts to everything , very animated person. I do hope he wins the dosh and I hope that we see a lot more of him in the future!!!!!

So those are my thoughts about the contestants - remember it's only a game show!!

If you haven't read the book from the first series I recommend it as its briliant!!
Here's to series 3.
