Well another show over - OH MY GOD !! Helen didn’t win so that’s a waste of a quid I spent on my 4 calls this evening. Seriously though Brian was a worthy winner and all credit to him. He seemed to be in total shock when he finally came out of the Big Brother House and it is all rather surreal to imagine just for one minute what he must have been thinking. I guess all the housemates knew this time around how much attention they would receive but even so I still can’t believe over 7 million people phoned into vote. Thinking about it, I would have had to spend over half a million on my phone bill to edge Helen into the winner’s enclosure !

So the final four from this week, Helen, Dean, Elizabeth and Brian will have to get used to real life again– I know I will ! It can’t be good for you getting in from work, watching the nightly show and then logging onto the web site to get some more action. Even when I take two days off work I find it incredibly difficult to get back into the swing of things. !

There must be millions of us who would love to experience what the 11 of them have just gone through. Though as I am 35 I can kind of relate to Dean’s comments about being a little too old for the group. Whilst being interviewed he stressed that he sometimes felt uncomfortable dressing up all of the time. At the end of the day he was a good all round guy, some people say he was boring and though I can see where they are coming from I still think we all can’t be like Brian. Maybe that’s me being old !

As Brian lapped up all the cheers from his fans he still found time to ask Bubble how his girlfriend was and to that he replied ‘not a good time’. Poor Bubble he so desperately wanted to win the £70,000 and he made no bones about wanting to win. The Bubble seemed to burst when he hurt his leg and had to hobble around the house.

To date none of the housemates from the first se
ries have become international celebrities. Some of them have been on the odd light entertainment show but nothing serious, especially not on primetime TV. I thus wonder what will become of Brian and Co ? Will Helen and Paul get it together; will they all join Stuart at the summer party he promised so many weeks ago ? I guess one thing is for sure and that is Davina won’t be presenting the third series. She has already publicly stated that it is time for a change and with that the whole concept of the show may also change. I wouldn’t imagine they could run through the same scenario of people getting voted off each week again. I believe Channel 4 were lucky to get the PAUL CLARK stuff when they did because shortly before it all hit off the storylines were a little luke warm.

Roll on the next series; maybe Helen and Brian can be in as well. I just can’t see Helen going back to her dancing and hairdressing. I would imagine she has no idea what she wants to do in ‘Helen’s World’. Lets hope the papers don’t drag up some sorry tale to keep the whole saga going. Its over and I for one must forget about it all and revert back to normal life. I must avoid all papers tomorrow and pretend it never happened, we can’t encourage this meaningless excuse for entertainment to continue. Hang on but I love it and so do 7 million other people.

OH MY GOD how will I survive and how much do Gucci shoes cost, I might just buy a pair ! We love you Paul Clark.
